Are you tired of feeling tired during the day from lack of sufficient sleep?
Here are a few tips you can use to help make falling asleep easier.
Sleep Tips
Decide how much sleep you need to feel rejuvenated for your day’s activities.
Go to bed pretty much the same time every day so that your body gets used to that schedule.
Stop scrolling on social media at least an hour before bedtime to allow your mind to be more calm.
Don’t drink caffeine before going to bed as it’s a stimulant. You may want to opt for calming chamomile tea or warm milk instead.
Prep and organize for the next day. Put together what you’ll eat for breakfast & lunch and set out your outfit for the next day.
Write in your journal to further release stress, pent-up feelings, plan goals, receive clarity, express yourself, or be creative.
Do light, gentle stretches to release tension and help your mind and body relax.
Take a warm relaxing bath or shower and feel relaxed before bed.
Listen to sleep meditation or sleep music to ease into a comfortable sleep instead of laying in bed frustrated that you’re finding it difficult to get to sleep.
You can include these tips into your daily bedtime schedule to wind down and create better conditions to fall asleep.
